The Glorious Twelfth is at hand!
Posh gunmen all over the land
Utter bloodthirsty howls
And slay thousands of fowls,
A practice I can’t understand
But fervently wish to see banned.

We may long to stop brainless toffs assassinating wildlife; but if we grant Governments the power to curtail people’s hobbies, where will it end? We’d be a nation of vegans … no bad thing.
